The V4 countries presented their joint position on the ongoing trans-European transport network (TEN-T) regulation revision at the informal EU transport ministers’ council in Brdo, Slovenia on September 23, 2021.
Committed to an efficient and sustainable TEN-T network, the Visegrad Group, with its joint position, wishes to contribute to finding the optimal solutions within the foreseen deadlines. The observations concerning railways, urban nodes, intermodality, inland waterways, alternative fuels and financial issues draw the attention of the European Commission both to potential benefits and to numerous uncertainties and the risk attached to them in connection with the new concept as it has been communicated so far.
